Section of C.R. 142 closed for bridge replacement in Elkhart County

ABC 57 ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Officials with the Elkhart County Highway Department announced a section of C.R. 142, between C.R. 21 and S.R. 15, will be closed for a bridge replacement over Turkey Creek.
The closure began Monday (Feb. 17) morning and officials expect it to be in place until Aug. 13.
The detour route will be C.R. 21 to C.R. 46 to S.R. 15.
Officials add that C.R. 142 will be open to local traffic, but there will be no access across Turkey Creek during the project.
