Second suspect in 1988 murder extradited to St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The second suspect in the cold case murder of Miriam Rice is in custody at the St. Joseph County Jail.
Barbara Brewster was booked into the jail on July 28 on one count of murder.
Rice was killed in 1988, but charges were not filed in the case until July 2018.
George Kearney, who has also been charged with Rice's murder, came forward in 2016.
Brewster is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at 1 p.m.
