From just above average today to the 80s later this week
While the cooler-than-normal weather has passed, Michiana still has one more day of less humid conditions on tap. Highs reach the mid 80s today with mostly sunny skies and calm winds while a few more clouds develop tonight as lows fall into the low 60s. Dewpoints jump into the mid 60s on Saturday as temperatures climb close to, but do not quite reach 90F. Expect partly cloudy skies with a slight chance for afternoon showers through all of this weekend and into the start of the week. While Sunday's forecasted high is similar to Saturday's, the day will feel much steamier due to increased dewpoints and low wind speeds. Monday will likely be the hottest day of the next ten with expected highs in the low 90s and dewpoints in the low 70s, making our temperatures feel closer towards the mid 90s by the afternoon and evening. The heat dome begins to shift away from the area Tuesday, but warmer-than-average temperatures stick with us into the first half of next week.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 84.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 62.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 89.
Sunday: Partly cloudy. High 89.
