Persistent northwesterly flow over warm Lake Michigan waters is contributing to scattered lake effect rain showers through the first half of today. Patchy sunshine this afternoon will warm temperatures to the upper 60s, allowing some of these showers to stream further inland without much impact on Michiana. The lake effect dies down temporarily tonight and mostly cloudy skies keep temperatures from hitting the 40s for most. Tuesday is mostly a rinse and repeat of today with less prominent winds rolling off of the lake, limiting (but not getting rid of) shower chances. Michiana is back in the low 70s on Wednesday and stays there the rest of the work week.
Today: Scattered showers. High 68.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 52.
Tuesday: Scattered showers. High 69.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High 72.
