UPDATE: Westbound lanes of U.S. 20 Bypass reopened, SBPD still expect some back-ups

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- 1:55 p.m. UPDATE: Police say westbound lanes are being reopened, but traffic is still backed up.
Authorities say they're working to move motorists through the area to resume traffic flow.
Police say two people were taken to the hospital for what are described as non-life-threatening injuries.
UPDATE: Police say the westbound lanes of U.S. 20 at Michigan Street remain blocked off as of 1:25 p.m. Wednesday due to a four-vehicle crash.
Authorities now say injuries have been reported but there's no updates on specific injuries at this time.
Drivers are asked to find alternate routes at this time.
