SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Memorial Hospital of South Bend is now sending every newborn home with books!

Through a partnership between Beacon Health System, the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, and Book Harvest, approximately 2,500 babies born each year will receive a starter library of ten brand-new board books on day one of life — making Memorial the first hospital in Indiana to launch the Books from Birth program.

Custom babywear and additional resources — including information about enrolling in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library — are included in the starter home library boxes. Click here for more info!
