Snow and very cold this weekend
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Saturday, at approximately 2:17 a.m., the South Bend Police Department responded to a walk-in shooting victim and a walk-in stabbing victim at Memorial Hospital.
Both victims were injured at the same location in the 2400 block of Mishawaka Avenue. One male suffered an apparent gunshot wound (GSW), which the hospital described the injuries as “stable.”
Another victim, also a male, sustained non-life-threatening injuries from an apparent stabbing.
The identities of the victims are currently unknown.
No suspect information is available for public release at this time, as the Violent Crime Unit’s investigation is ongoing.
