NILES, Mich. -- At the Niles Goodwill donation dropoff location, Sanya Vitale, the Director of Community Development, spoke with ABC57 about how residents have stepped up to help each other after the flood.

In Niles, 50 residences were damaged and more than 100 acres of park land was affected, Vitale said.

She said if anyone needs help, they should call 2-1-1 to reach out to the United Way.

On Saturday, she says they will be out in the neighborhoods getting the supplies collected to the people who need them.
