Santa's Elficers Food Drive accepting donations through December 19

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend FOP Lodge #36 is hosting a food drive to support families in need this holiday season as part of its Santa's Elficers program. Donations for the drive can be dropped off at a number of locations through December 19.
Donations can be dropped off at the South Bend Police Department, located at 701 W. Sample St. and at two other locations in South Bend and Mishawaka:
- McKinnies Realty, located at 1632 E. Day Road in Mishawaka
- Clayview Animal Clinic, located at 50877 State Road 933 in South Bend
These locations are also accepting donations for the program's gift drive.
Program organizers are in most need of the following items for the food drive:
- Canned vegetables
- Yams
- Instant potatoes
- Stuffing mix
- Gravy mix
- Marshmallows
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Cereal
- Pancake mix
