South Bend FOP Santa's Elficers program accepting donations for 2022 season

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend FOP Lodge #36 is looking for donations for its 2022 Santa's Elficers program.

Each year, the elficers give wrapped gifts to children in need and holiday meals to their families. The program helps kids ages 17 and younger.

The program is 100% donation driven. The police department is currently asking for money, gift cards, holiday gifts, clothing, shoes, bedding, and non-perishable food.

Residents can also shop from the program's Amazon Wishlist.

Donations can be dropped off at the South Bend Police Department, located at 701 W Sample St.

Families in need this holiday season can sign up to be on the receiving end of the program by emailing [email protected]. The deadline to sign up is December 9.

In 2021, the program served 284 children and their families.
