Santa at the Mistletoe Market: how to stay on the Nice List
GOSHEN, Ind. -- Santa was out and about in Michiana Friday evening, even stopping by the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds for the Mistletoe Market to spread some holiday cheer and answer questions from community children.
The most asked question: how to stay on the Nice List.
Santa says it's as simple as listening to mom and dad, doing nice things, and sharing toys.
7-year-old Gia Barkes said that she's definitely on the Nice List this year, she explained that getting there isn't about being perfect, but how you treat others and yourself.
The Mistletoe Market offers a place to get some last-minute gifts and also serves as a reminder of true Christmas magic.
Amanda Schultz, Community Engagement Coordinator for Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds told ABC57's Blake Parker, "Our goal is really just to provide a holiday space for families to come and make memories and to just be together, celebrate our local artisan vendors, and just really bring the community together."
Each of the three nights of the market are expected to draw in a crowd of 1,200 people, helping to keep the fairgrounds running all year round.
There are two more days to visit the winter wonderland, Saturday and Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
