Supporters hold ’Trump Win of the Day’ rally in Niles
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- An attempted robbery at a Popeyes was thwarted today by an employee who stood up to an armed assailant with a knife.
The assailant, a teenager, got promptly pushed out of the restaurant by the employee and was then arrested after Niles Police located his vehicle.
The employee, Ray Greathouse, sustained injuries that required stitches, but he plans to return to work once he recovers.
