Two men arrested in Milford with outstanding warrants
UPDATE: Two men were arrested On August 14, around 6:55 p.m., after a search warrant was executed at 508 west First street.
32-year-old Jefferson Velasquez Pedrosa was arrested on outstanding federal warrants for Bank Burglary and Bank Theft. Pedrosa was lodged at the St Joseph County Jail.
19-year-old Winyerber Acosta fled on foot but was found around two hours later in a wooded area in a wooded area.
Acosta was taken into custody without further incident.
Acosta was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Cook County, Illinois, for Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and was lodged at the Kosciusko County Jail.
The Indiana State Police Emergency Response Team (ERT and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) conducted the search.
UPDATE: Dispatch has reported that one suspect is currently in custody. No names have been identified.
Two Hispanic males have just fled from the south side of Milford. There is possibility the men are near S.R. 15 and are in a wooded area.
They are reported to only be wearing shorts.
The men are noted as dangerous and could be armed. Call 911 immediately if you see the suspects in your area. Do not approach the suspects.
ISP has told ABC57 "We are involved with a multi-agency operation where a warrant was served."
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- UPDATE: Kosciusko County dispatch confirms that both men are now in custody.
