ELKHART, Ind. -- The City of Elkhart announced, weather permitting, the Elkhart Street Department will begin milling and paving operations on Monday and continue through Thursday.

City officials ask that all vehicles be moved off the street by 7 a.m. and to keep them off until after 5 p.m. or until the barricades are removed.

Sidewalks and alleyways will remain open to and from residents' homes, but street access will be prohibited.

Monday

• Madison Street – Middlebury Street to Aspenwald Avenue
• Monroe Street – Aspenwald Avenue to 1031 Monroe Ave.
• Congress Street – Richmond Avenue to West Cul De Sac
• Congress Street – Richmond Avenue to Princeton Street

Tuesday

• Congress Street – Princeton Street to East alleyway
• Mary Beck School alley – McDonald Street to Charles Street
• Charles Street – Princeton Street to Tipton Avenue
• Tipton Avenue – Middlebury Street to South end

Wednesday

• Taylor Street – Tipton Avenue to east dead end
• Indiana Avenue – Bridge to Goshen Avenue
• Riverview Drive – Middlebury Street to Industrial Parkway

Thursday

• Riverview Drive – Middlebury Street to Industrial Parkway
• Graywood Avenue – Middlebury Street to dead end
• Los Angeles Avenue – Middlebury Street to dead end
