Rick Ross performing in Benton Harbor

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Benton Harbor native and former NBA player Wilson Chandler is teaming up with rap star Rick Ross to present a free Nobody’s Home Music Festival in Benton Harbor on September 4.

The event is slated to be from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 90 W. Main Street in Benton Harbor.

Chandler is sponsoring the event in anticipation of his new recreational marijuana dispensary called Nobody’s Home that will open soon on West Main Street.

The city commission approved the concert-style festival last month.

Festival management put in an application, which is still pending, for the event to allow legal pot smoking on the premises.

Again, the event is free, but festival goers, who must be 21 or older, must pre-register for the event.
