Resident injured in house explosion

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office responded to the 1700 block of CR225 North around 6 p.m. Monday after a house exploded.

When deputies arrived, they found the home with serious structural damage.

Bobby Conley, 47, was home at the time of the explosion and sustained serious injuries.

Conley was flown by medical helicopter to Chicago for treatment.

Deputies say the cause of the explosion is under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshal's Office.
