Renaissance Faire happening in Niles

NILES, Mich. - The Niles Renaissance Faire is coming to Plym Park on Saturday, May 18, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 19, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Organizers say guests can expect merchants selling their wares and bards who will lull you with their musical talents at the celebration of medieval times.

They add you could even be heckled by their town fool.

Faire officials add that you should keep an eye out for the jailer who will lock up a member of your party for a small fee.

A children’s scavenger hunt will also be held.

Admission for ages 13 and up is $7 and children aged 5 to 12 is $5.

Seniors and veterans are $5 and children under 5 are free.
