ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, March 15, 2025
Gusty conditions will persist throughout the afternoon and evening, with wind gusts reaching up to, and possibly exceeding, 50 mph. If you've been outside today, you've likely noticed a hazy or smoky appearance. This is due to yesterday’s fires and dust storms in the Southern Plains. Strong southerly winds are pushing smoke, dust, and other particles northward into Michiana. Despite these conditions, temperatures will remain warm throughout the day, contributing to the development of widespread rain and possibly a few embedded thunderstorms tonight. Overnight, temperatures will drop into the 30s, which may bring a few snowflakes mixed in with the rain on Sunday morning. Expect cooler weather to end the weekend, with highs in the 40s. Temperatures will gradually recover next week, with the next chance for rain arriving by midweek.
Tonight: Cold. Mixed precip likely. Low 35.
Sunday: AM rain/snow mix. Cool High 40.
Monday: Slightly warmer, Sunny. High 53.
Tuesday: Warm, Mostly sunny. High 65.
