ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast

Wednesday, December 17th, 2025

Scattered rain showers are expected to begin later this morning, then will soon become widespread by afternoon. Showers will last much of the day, into the evening as well. Conditions will be mild, but breezy today with highs nearing the 50s and sustained winds around 20 mph—gusts up to 40 mph.

A strong cold front will pass tonight, rapidly dropping temperatures to the 20s and tonight going into Friday. This raises concern of flash freezing Friday morning. Winds should aid in drying any wet roads/surfaces; however, any remain wet spots will freeze by Friday morning, making more a slick AM commute. Rain will transition into snow as well as temperatures bottom out—little accumulation expected. After a cold Friday, conditions remain quiet for the next several days. Temperatures climb again above freezing and will reach the upper 40s again for Christmas Day.

Thursday: Widespread showers, windy. High 48.

Tonight: Flash Freeze likely, Cold, Breezy. Rain turning into snow. Low 18.

Friday: Slick AM, Lingering snow, breezy. High 24

Sunday: Quiet and cloudy. Mild. High 42.
