A few showers and storms are lingering over the western portion of our area this morning, but most of Michiana can expect quiet and sticky weather out the door. Patchy and dense fog is possible due to yesterday's rain combined with the leftover heat in our atmosphere this morning. While the extreme heat warning has expired, a heat advisory has been issued for our Indiana counties due to expected heat index values reaching near 100 degrees yet again. Pop-up showers and storms are likely yet again today in the afternoon and evening, but chances of severe weather remain near zero. Temperatures the rest of this week will hover around the 90 degree mark, but the hottest and most humid weather is behind us. Rain in the second half of the day is also possible each day through Friday evening.
Today: Scattered thunderstorms. High 88.
Tonight: Scattered showers. Low 72.
Thursday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 92.
Friday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 89.
