Showers and storms are gradually coming to an end, allowing the opportunity for fireworks to end Independence Day.

Scattered showers and storms return tomorrow afternoon--no severe weather is expected. Storms may bring brief periods of gusty winds and heavy rain. Conditions next week start quieter and cooler with highs near average.
