Rafael Morton to receive History Museum's 2025 African American Legacy Award

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The History Museum is set to honor Rafael Morton with the History Museum's 2025 African American Legacy Award on June 10 at their Juneteenth Reception.
The Juneteenth Reception will take place at the museum from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., with reservations required.
Tickets for the event are $60, with sponsorship packages also available for purchase.
Morton has dedicated many years to public service, including this past Nov. when he was elected to the Saint Joseph County Board of Commissioners.
Additionally, Morton has served on many boards, including St. Joseph County Community Corrections Board, St. Joseph County REAL Services Board, and the CASA Board of Directors.
