La Porte County Sheriff's Office investigating motor vehicle/pedestrian crash; serious injury reported

ABC 57 LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Officials in La Porte County are investigating a serious crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The county sheriff's office says it happened on the 4000 block of US 35 N.
All lanes on the road are blocked between Stonehedge Way and C.R. 400 W.
The public is asked to avoid the area.
