"Warrior Wrestling" takes over Bendix Arena, Saturday, with international stars Will Ospreay and Brian Cage going head-to-head in the main event.
The Chicago-based professional wrestling promotion is owned by Notre Dame alumni, Steve Tortorello. With live events returning to normal, Tortorello tells ABC57 companies are back to exploring new markets, with high-quality venues like Bendix Arena.
“If that venue were in downtown Chicago, it would be booked every day of the year,” Tortorello said. “And South Bend really has a lot to offer. So I do think that entertainment companies like us are starting to look at getting away from the congested big cities."
