President Biden expected to be in South Bend Saturday for private event

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- After many residents saw and/or heard a large military plane in the South Bend area this morning, many began to speculate that a high-ranking government official may be making a surprise campaign stop in the area.
Sources have confirmed to ABC57 that President Joe Biden is expected to be in South Bend this coming Saturday, Oct. 5, but it is not for a campaign stop, rather a private event not open to the public.
