Present Pillars announces Spring Expungement Resource Fair

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Present Pillars in partnership with Michigan State Police, Safe & Just Michigan, Legal Aid of Western Michigan, and others invite the community to attend its Spring Expungement Resource Fair this Saturday.
The event is focused on supporting those pursuing expungement of Michigan-based convictions and to provide helpful resources in order for participants to "take the first step toward a new beginning" according to Present Pillars.
It will be open to residents of Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties, as well as a few other surrounding areas.
“We believe in second chances and creating opportunities for individuals to rebuild their lives. Expungement is a crucial step toward economic stability, employment, and housing. We’re committed to ensuring that every eligible person gets the support they need to move forward.” said the Executive Director of Present Pillars James Gunter.
This fair is set to take place Saturday, March 15, at the First Church of God Benton Heights campus. It kicks off at noon and will go until 4 p.m.
