No sign of summer-like heat stopping
GRANGER, Ind. -- Saint Joseph County Police are now confirming a late-night stabbing July 12.
Around 10:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 52000 block of Hickory Road on the report of a large group of vehicles possibly drag racing down the street.
Once officers arrived and began to clear the scene they learned of the stabbing.
Two victims were identified but were not at the scene, as they had self-transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing, and no suspects have been located as of now.
Police ask if anyone has any information, they are encouraged to submit a tip, either by calling the Detective Bureau at 574-235-9569 or by contacting Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
