SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A big nighttime holiday event is coming to Four Winds Field this year.

The South Bend Cubs announced its first ever "Holiday Lights on the Diamond." Officials say 1 million Christmas lights and displays will be lit on the field and the concourse. There will also be meet and greets with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, as well as SBC mascots Stu and Ivy on select dates.

Holiday train rides will also be offered.

Concessions will be available. Holiday-themed merchandise and apparel will also be available.

The event is running from November 13 to January 2. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. daily. The stadium will close at 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

There will be special hours of operation on Thanksgiving (6:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m.) and Christmas (6:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m.).

Tickets may be purchased at the box office during regular business hours, or by calling (574) 235-9988. Tickets are required for guests ages two and older. Large groups are encouraged to call the box office.
