Portage Township Trustee Office seeks residents' input for future decision making

Portage Township Trustee Office

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Portage Township Trustee Office is asking residents to participate in a survey to give feedback geared toward informing township leaders as they look ahead to future decisions.

The trustee office has partnered with a South Bend-based market research company to conduct the independent research project.

Township officials say they're inviting diverse groups of residents to participate in relaxed, 60-minute focus groups, to be held in person or online if needed, to share their honest thoughts.

What to expect:

  • Sessions are relaxed, casual, and run about 60 minutes.
  • If selected, you'll receive a $50 gift E-card (Amazon or Walmart) for in-person participation or $40 if you participate in an online group.
  • All sessions are recorded for accuracy, but your responses will remain confidential and anonymous.
  • You’ll be part of a significant research effort that values your voice and perspectives; there are no sales pitches.

The first group surveys begin May 12.

If you're interested in participating, you can go online to answer a few questions and choose a time that works for you.
