Police seeking new person of interest in shooting on Wednesday

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Benton Harbor police have cleared one person of interest and have released information about a second person of interest in a shooting that happened on Division Street on Wednesday, according to the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety.

BHDPS officers said their investigation revealed 35-year-old Darnell Walker had been shot in the area of the 400 block of Division Street.

During their investigation, police said they developed a person of interest and would like to speak with 34-year-old Augusta Sims of Benton Harbor. Police located Sims and have ruled him out as a person of interest.

Now, police are searching for 28-year-old Lineson Fitzgerald Powell, who also goes by 'Drama.'
