Police investigating shooting in Sturgis Township

SAINT JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department are investigating a shooting that occurred at a parking lot in Sturgis Township Saturday afternoon. 

Officials say that several subjects were arguing, and shots were fired at a vehicle as it drove away from the scene. 

The incident occurred in the 69000 block of M-66 at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. 

A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing. No injuries have been reported. 

Police are asking anyone with knowledge of the situation to contact the St. Joseph County Central Dispatch or the St. Joseph Police 
Department.
