Police investigating after two men dead, one woman unconscious at Elkhart home

ORIGINAL STORY:
ELKHART, Ind. - The Elkhart Police Department is investigating after two men were found dead and a woman was found unconscious inside a home on Franklin Street Monday morning.
Just before noon, police were called to the 1600 block of W. Franklin St. for a welfare check on a residence. According to the dispatch call, packages were piling up outside the home.
When police arrived, they forced entry into the residence and found the two men already dead.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she’s now in critical condition.
There is no immediate threat to the public, according to Elkhart Police.
