UPDATE: 

St. Joseph County Police Department is actively investigating a home invasion reported around 2 a.m. in the 50600 block of Tarrington Way.

Investigators have located evidence indicating that shots were fired during the incident. 

No victim has been identified or located at this time.

GRANGER, Ind. -- St. Joseph County dispatch has confirmed SJCPD is investigating an early morning shooting that occurred shortly before 2 a.m. this morning. 

Authorities were still on-scene in the 50600 block of Tarrington Way around 2:45 a.m. 

Dispatch could not confirm any injuries or the status of the victim or suspect.
