Police identify man accused of crashing into patrol car, killing K9

The Indiana State Police have identified the man who allegedly stole a car in Plymouth, then crashed into a deputy's vehicle on US30 Wednesday afternoon.
Clarence Shearer, 31 of Ft. Wayne, was taken into custody Thursday after he was released from the hospital in Columbia City.
Shearer will face charges related to the multi-county pursuit and crash that killed Whitley County Sheriff's Department K9 Cas.
