Plymouth Police investigating crash that injured bicyclist

PLYMOUTH, Ind.—The Plymouth Police Department is investigating a crash on Wednesday night that injured a bicyclist.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Western Ave. and the U.S. 30 overpass for reports of a crash around 9:38 p.m. on March 20.

During their investigation, police learned that a bicyclist was traveling south on Western Ave. when it collided with a vehicle that was traveling north in the northbound lane of Western Ave.

The bicyclist, identified as 25-year-old Jordan Ringer of Plymouth, was taken to Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle involved was identified as 19-year-old Samuel Jasso, also of Plymouth.

The incident remains under investigation.
