Pennsylvania man sentenced to over 10 years in prison

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of Indiana announced 47-year-old Ezequiel Rosa-Hernandez, of Erie, Pa., was sentenced after pleading guilty to possessing with intent to distribute cocaine.

Rosa-Hernandez was sentenced to 10 years and five months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

Case documents state, in April 2022, Rosa-Hernandez drove from his home in Erie to Chicago to obtain a kilogram of cocaine intended for distribution in Pennsylvania.

On his way back, Rosa-Hernandez was stopped by law enforcement in Indiana, at which point the kilo of coke was found, according to official documents.
