LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The level competition at Semi State often matches the enormity of the stage. Though the Penn Kingsmen had a tremendous season - winning conference, sectional, and regional titles - that stage and competition proved a bit too much.
The Kingsmen fell 71-42 to the Carmel Greyhounds, who punched their own ticket to next weekend's 4A State Finals.
