MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Penn High School's homecoming parade returns for the first time in over 20 years.
The parade ushered the Homecoming Court to the football field along with a contest between 16 extracurricular and co-curricular clubs, activities, teams that participated in this year's event.
This year's theme for the parade was Kingdom. Students in groups dressed and decorated floats in a medieval theme.
Following the parade, PHM Education Foundation welcomed guests to a family fun zone and fair with free activities such as dunk tanks and inflatables.
"It was an incredible turnout, we had over 18 clubs and sports team participating. We had people from the fire department, sheriff's department, our whole homecoming court, our superintendent in a convertible - we had an amazing turnout from our school families and communities, it was great to see them lining the streets and cheering on our clubs" said Executive Director of PHM Education Foundation, Jennifer Turnbolm.
