Penn High School’s graduation was held at Freed Field, where the 868 members of the class of 2021 got their diplomas on Friday.
Dr. Jerry Thacker, the Superintendent of Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation, spoke at the commencement, saying "I hope you realize that commencement is not an ending, but a beginning and that a large part of your success in life will depend on how ready, willing and able you are to accept each beginning as an opportunity for growth. I have great confidence in your success."
The class of 2021 raised more than 10 million dollars in scholarships and more than half of the class graduated with academic honors.
