Pedestrian Struck in Hit-and-Run

MARSHALL, Mich.-- Troopers from the Michigan State Police Marshall Post are investigating a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian that occurred early this morning, between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m., in the 13000 block of 27 Mile Road in Calhoun County.

According to reports, a male pedestrian was walking south on 27 Mile Road when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle, possibly a black pickup truck, which fled the scene.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about this incident or similar incidents to contact the Michigan State Police.
