UPDATE: The hospital reopened Monday morning. All services have returned to the hospital.
LAGRANGE, Ind. -- Parkview LaGrange Hospital is temporarily closed because of an air conditioning outage, expected to last 48 hours.
Any patients that need emergency care are asked to go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
A temporary Emergency Department is inside the medical office building, which still has air conditioning.
There patients can get a screening exam and be sent to the right place for further care.
Current patients have already been transferred to other facilities and surgeries are rescheduled.
