SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Two people died Saturday morning in South Bend as a result of a shooting that is currently being investigated as a double homicide. Each victim was located at two separate locations.
South Bend Police were called to Lasalle Park Homes Apartments around 12:20 a.m. concerning a shooting.
Police later confirmed the shooting victim found at the Lasalle Park Homes Apartments as 32-year-old Eric Johnson, who was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Then, South Bend Police were called for a report that someone had a gunshot wound on the 1100 block of Cedar Street, which is not far from the Lasalle Park Homes Apartments.
However, police say it's not clear if the second victim was shot on Cedar Street or somewhere else.
