One person stabbed on Michigan Street in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One person was injured after a stabbing on South Bend's south side.

South Bend Police confirm officers responded to the 2300 block of South Michigan Street around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A suspect was detained and is now in custody. The victim and suspect are not being named at this time.
