One person injured in crash in Porter Township

CASS COUNTY, Mich. --Cass County Police responded to a call, after 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 4, 2024, for a crash in Porter Township, where one person was injured. 

This crash happened near the intersection of Robbins Lake Road and US-12, where investigation shows a 36-year-old Three Rivers male resident was negotiating a curve, when he crossed the center line of the roadway. 

He collided with another vehicle, driven by a 45-year-old Edwardsburg resident. 

The 45-year-old Edwardsburg resident was transported to Elkhart General Hospital to get minor injuries treated. 

All parties involved were wearing seatbelts, and drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this crash.
