One dead and one hospitalized after shooting in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — One person is dead and another person is in the hospital after a shooting on Indiana and Lebanon Street.
Police were called to the scene around 2 a.m. Saturday.
One victim was found at the scene and taken to the Memorial Hospital.
Police then found the other victim on Sample and Fellows after crashing near the South Bend Fire Training Center.
He was taken to Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
Metro Homicide has been activated and are currently investigating at the scene of the shooting.
We are working to learn about the the other victim's injuries. No suspects are in custody.
