VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department announced a fatal hit and run that happened on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
Police were dispatched to the 61000 block of CR 378 in Bangor Twp. of Van Buren County just before 7:30 p.m.
A 55 year-old male pedestrian was pronounced dead after a driver allegedly hit him then left the scene.
Deputies are asking the public to help with identifying the vehicle in question which is described as a Dodge Journey between the years of 2010 and 2019.
The vehicle is described as light colored possibly silver or light blue and will have drivers’ side front end damage.
