One injured in two-vehicle crash at C.R. 17 and C.R. 10

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to the intersection of C.R. 17 and C.R. 10 around 5:46 p.m., Nov. 29, for a two-vehicle crash.

The report states a 2002 Toyota Avalon, driven by 77-year-old James Farr of Elkhart, was traveling north on C.R. 17 behind a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by a 37-year-old Elkhart man, at C.R. 10.

Both vehicles were in the far left lane preparing to turn left onto C.R. 10.

Farr then rear-ended the Chrysler.

Farr was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with a complaint of stomach pain.

The other driver reported no injuries.
