Main building of Elkhart Clinic closed temporarily
ELKHART, Ind. -- Two people were injured in an early morning crash just south of Elkhart on Wednesday.
Police responded to the scene of the crash involving two vehicles near State Road 19 and County Road 28 around 5:27 a.m.
One of the vehicles involved also struck a home on S.R. 19
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, a 21-year-old man from Mishawaka was airlifted to a hospital in South Bend with life threatening injuries.
A 28-year-old Nappanee man was taken to a hospital in Elkhart for lower back pain.
The crash remains under investigation.
