MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that happened Wednesday afternoon in Mishawaka.
Police and EMS were called to the 4000 block of Hickory Road just after 5 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
When EMS arrived, they located a man inside an apartment with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been identified as 20-year-old Yannick Tunga.
An autopsy will be conducted in Fort Wayne on Friday.
