One dead after residential fire in Mishawaka along with multiple victims

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka Fire Department arrived on scene at 1005 West Jefferson Blvd. for reports a house fire.
The call was received around 4:10 a.m. and one individual was removed safely from the home while two others were still inside.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, one person is receiving assistance from the American Red Cross, and one person was transported to Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the City of Mishawaka and Indiana State Fire Marshal's Office.
